Scheduling Infrastructure

The online-booking widget that lets customers self-book directly onto the dispatch board, via a company's own website and Reserve with Google. Only trustworthy if the underlying capacity model is configured correctly first.

Scheduling Pro Reserve with Google Capacity Models

Get the capacity model wrong and the scheduler either shows no availability when slots genuinely exist, or overbooks a day that should have been full. The capacity choice — Adaptive, ACP, Business Hours, or Custom — isn't cosmetic; it changes what "available" actually means.

Setup

Prerequisites & five-step configuration

Establish the platform foundation first, then configure capacity, questions, Google booking, and installation.

Establish first

  • Zones
  • Job Type Mapping
  • Business Hours
  • Campaigns
  • Scheduling Pro Tag
  • Phone Number for the widget
1

Choose the capacity model

Quick Settings
  • Adaptive Capacity — automatic adjustment based on real-time booking activity.
  • ACP — feeds real-time technician shift availability directly.
  • Business Hours — simple calendar-based.
  • Custom Capacity — manual technician/trade configuration.
Test before trusting Run the scheduler test/preview to book a test job before relying on it with real customers.
2

Customize preconfigured settings

  • Choose bookable job types/services, configure service questions, set booking zones.
  • Non-standard job types: use Customize Question Mode with dedicated routing logic instead of forcing a generic question set.
3

Review Reserve with Google

  • Map the Google Business Profile to the schedule — enables booking straight from Google Search/Maps.
4

Install the scheduler

Duda / Wix / GoDaddy / WordPress
  • Retrieve the install script, select web host, set business unit rules for multi-BU job types.
Whitelist every site Including staging/testing sites, in Scheduler Details — otherwise the widget won't function there.
5

Keep it updated

  • Edit anytime from Settings > Marketing Integrations; demo-version progress carries over to paid.
No staging step Changes to scheduler settings take effect immediately — treat live edits with the same care as any production change.
